I’m Jared Woodruff, the founder of Build Boy. I grew up in a blue-collar, entrepreneurial family and spent my life doing everything from working in offices and manufacturing to serving in the Marine Corps and swinging a hammer in the trades.
I started Build Boy after seeing a big gap in the home services world—especially around communication and follow-through. Too often, great work gets overshadowed by poor planning, slow quotes, and unclear expectations. I knew there had to be a better way to run a service business—and that’s what I set out to build.
I’ve lived in Eugene since I was 14. I’m a husband and dad of four, raising a traditional family and doing my best to balance faith, work, and fatherhood. When I’m not working, I’m chasing kids through the woods on camping trips, fixing something around the house, or helping neighbors with a project or two. I don’t have a lot of time for hobbies these days—but this work is a passion of mine.
